With this Project I wanted to pay homage to some of the first people to study and investigate the natural world, botanical artists. One such artist, was Jane Wells Webb Loudon.  It is this series that I have focused on with my project, replicating both the formatting of these works, and their artistic style. Our modern gardens are full to the brim of plants that have originated from all over the globe, and as a tribute to that, where possible I have directed my attention towards plants that, despite flourishing in our climate, do not originate from our native habitat.
